Sure, something like that. It's Monday, the weather's nice (joy), and as the title states there's kinda a lot going on. Let's talk about it. But first:

Apparently, my deepest darkest secret is this new album at the rate I'm going. Is that a non-answer? Sure, but I did say I'd never tell, Esmeralda (Shoutout as promised, by the way)! Here's a secret of mine: When I was younger, I used to have an irrational fear of The Incredibles (yes, the Disney one). Have fun with that knowledge.

I'll start with some news. Recording has been a bit of a non-process lately, at least on the vocal front. I've been noticing some vocal fatigue when I sit for sessions as of late, and I'm getting it checked by an ENT out on the 25th. I hope to hear that there's no issues going on with my precious vocal folds, but of course if there's something going on I'll need to adjust accordingly.

Of course, the weather's changing and anything could affect anything, so more on that as it develops. Best case, I hear that all's fine and I just ease myself back into things.

This has been, however, a good time to crank out some instrumental recordings, so momentum isn't at a complete stop! I finally got the electric guitar (and bass, which is just a guitar tuned to drop D) down for "Broken Up" which was nagging at me for a while!

I've also been improving my design skills! That's super fun. I'm learning how to design and I started this 100 day UI/UX challenge to force my way into googling a lot of design stuff. I'm nowhere near good at it yet, but this website could eventually get another makeover because of it!

It's not the prettiest thing ever, but hey it's mine and so I love it.

It doesn't get more blatantly "I listen to nightvale" than this. Here are some horoscopes paraphrased by somebody who is absolutely not licensed to read the stars, but will anyways:

Aries: A new business opportunity is on its way, Aries. When it arrives, it will knock exactly three times. Do not answer if you hear four knocks.

Taurus: Have you been running hot lately? When's the last time you took your temperature? Do you even know your baseline? Most people probably don't know that. Don't be most people, Taurus.

Gemini: You woke up today with new powers. That's what this says, it literally doesn't elaborate. Good luck figuring out what those are, Gemini.

Cancer: You should probably work on that second album. I'm not even kidding, the horoscope.com thing I'm reading kinda sounds like this. Maybe I'm just seeing that in this, Cancer. Maybe that's all Horoscopes are.

Leo:

Virgo: Today's probably going to feel like a drive where you pick a direction and just don't stop. Full commit to the bit, Virgo! It'll lead you somewhere!

Libra: Your bank is not offering the best APY. You should get on that, Libra.

Scorpio: From our first emerald to our last, Scorpio. From our first emerald to our last. (Can you believe people pay for Netflix?)

Sagittarius: The IRS has been looking at you with interest, Sagittarius. Now I'm not saying that means anything, but crushes work in funny ways. Were they just staring at you? They were totally just staring at you. Congratulations on your newfound love, Sagittarius!

Capricorn: Life is your Smorgasbord, Capricorn. I just learned that word recently and wanted an excuse to use it, so it's yours today, Capricorn.

Aquarius: Did you do something new with your hair, Aquarius? It just looks different than last time. Good different!

Pisces: It's hard to say whether this IRS thing is a love triangle or not, Pisces. It does look like they're shooting looks at Sagittarius lately, but that could mean anything. For all you know they're enemies. Full steam ahead, Pisces.
